I've seen mixed reviews about it, but it talks about the loss a child experiences through adoption and how those emotions can affect their behaviors and reappear throughout their life in different ways without them even realizing it. Tuesday, June 4, 2013. The beginning of June brings us to our three year waiting mark. We have had some contacts, some scams, but nothing has blossomed to a meeting or a match. The Road Less Traveled: Our Adoption Journey. Monday, February 13, 2012. There is quite the misconception about birthmother’s out there. While I understand that there are lots of women who are drug dependent/unstable/teenagers etc that might choose adoption for their child, that is not our story. Brittany is the opposite of the stereotype. She is young, but not a teenager. She is enrolled in college and gets good grades. She is a mom to her sweet little boy who is almost 2. That was my greatest fear.
