Gentle ramblings of a U.S. History Teacher in South Texas. Sunday, April 15, 2012. I AM A TOY! This has been a year of firsts. I was voted Most Inspirational 8th grade teacher by the student body for 8th grade. I have now been voted a TOY. Teacher of the Year for my campus. Just click on toy and check it out. I was very surprised. No more like "Are you sure you have the right person? This gives an interesting overview for the kids and interactive activities. Another is Hippocampus. I AM A TOY!

Monday, April 27, 2009. Another thing that impressed me is the extra education these students receive, besides the three R's. Students are responsible for maintaining a salt water fish tank, taking care of doves, planting a garden, and even a pet rabbit. They are actively engaged in recycling.
