In which I experience three different kinds of natural disasters in one week. Worth noting first off that unlike the people whose lives have been turned upside down by these events, my experiences were more tangential, while still very real. Event #1 - hey, was that some kind of shaking going on? Magnitude 5.9 earthquake hits Virginia, and at some point shortly thereafter I turn to my coworker and ask, "are we having an earthquake?
