Wednesday, July 27, 2011. So the beach is lovely, we think, we haven't seen it in a while. It has been a steady downpour/thunderstorm for the last two days. Before this all started I did get some decent pics of the beach though. The kitchen in our beach house. Baby Kurry snoozing on the beach. The backyard and pool house. Monday, April 30, 2012. Waikiki is kind of meh. In lieu of doing actual work I decided to do a final post on Hawaii. We also had a Hawaiian plate lunch at Ono Hawaiian Food. YUM. We had pork wrapped in taro leaves, kalua pork (basically shredded smoky pork), some kind of salmon thing I didn't eat, poi (weird purple paste), beef stew with rice, and wobbledy coconut stuff. We also went to some other restaurants that were pretty nice: Town. Anyway, here are some pics from Oahu. Where happy things happen.

Saturday, August 24, 2013. Sasquatch is a fantastic music festival that happens every Memorial Day at The Gorge in George, WA (zing, pioneer town namers! It is quite possibly one of the most beautiful places I've seen. The music wasn't bad either! Macklemore and Ryan Lewis. Black Rebel Motorcycle Club. Preservation Hall Jazz Band. Heading east out of Seattle on I90. Crossing the Columbia River. Our brave camp leader. My first view of the Gorge. The first of many amazing sunsets. Macklemore and Ryan Lewis.

Thursday, January 26, 2012. Snow throne of some sort. Also, melting snow in the streets is disgusting. Do not like. How to stay upright when zooming downhill. On sticks. On snow. So one of the things that happens here is SNOW. It's this odd white fluffy stuff that falls from the sky instead of rain, I had heard rumors of its existence prior to moving up here but I thought it was just a legend. Like elk, or yeti. Heading east to the first week of ski lessons. About to hit the slopes. Sunset on the way home.

Monday, April 25, 2011. Mountains and Wine and Vodka, Oh My! I think it took us about 2 hours to get to the top? We forgot to check but it was pretty tiring. Once we got to the top we enjoyed the lookout for a few minutes but then headed back down. Item number two on the agenda was Wine! Thursday, September 22, 2011. Super shiny silver tree. I don't even know what this is. Saturday, September 10, 2011. So anyway, we found the bridge to Hogwarts when we got there so that was pretty cool. The overall hike wasn't too hard though until the very end. You have to go up nine switchbacks at the very top and the last two handed me my ass. Oof, shouldn't have had that latte on the drive up there. I think my body was working out all of the caffeine at once. Headed down the trail. Check out the snow.
