I figured out why I felt so beat playing hockey yesterday - I definitely have a cold.  It's either arriving or is here.  Staying up late last night didn't help anything, but that's no big deal.  Managed to get haircuts for me and the boys and it was a pretty good day.  A nice nap in the middle of the day helped too. Sunday, August 31, 2008. So yesterday I found a place where I could actually by wool to spin. So exciting (for a nerd like me)! This morning Brian and I got the spinning wheel set up and the bobbin in place using bits of cardboard from a beer case and a metal washer. Ahh, ingenuity. I think I need to find a leather strap or something to go around the wheel because I can't get the tension right. Still. It kind of worked which is pretty cool. Posted by Danika Barker.
