Did He Ride Today?: April 2015
http://didheridetoday.blogspot.com/2015_04_01_archive.html
Did He Ride Today? The diary of a moto-commuter. Thursday, April 9, 2015. Didn't Miss the Rain. Yes, I rode to work today. I didn't miss the rain this morning, but I did miss the thunderstorms that rolled through shortly before I left. It was clear for the ride home. It was breezy, but not as windy as they had predicted. 67F/19C with a steady rain for the ride to work. 83F/28C and cloudy, but plenty of sunshine for the home ride. Keith - Circle Blue. Wednesday, April 8, 2015. Yes, I rode to work today.

The Apathy Square: March 2015
http://theapathysquare.blogspot.com/2015_03_01_archive.html
101 things I did before I died. Friday, 20 March 2015. Don't look at the Sun - you could die! How not to watch a Solar Eclipse. I went to look at a solar eclipse today. Although strictly speaking you're not allowed to look at a solar eclipse because you can go blind. Anyway, because there was one today and I'm not blind, I must not have really looked at it. No, it's Craighouse on the Isle of Jura. I'm just going behind the Moon for a bit, I won't be long. I saw some schoolchildren and they were all huddl...

The Apathy Square: Marie Curie Coast to Coast - In the Night Garden meets Man vs Food
http://theapathysquare.blogspot.com/2014/06/marie-curie-coast-to-coast-in-night.html
101 things I did before I died. Tuesday, 24 June 2014. Marie Curie Coast to Coast - In the Night Garden meets Man vs Food. It's fair to say I probably underestimated how hard this weekend's coast to coast would be. Apart from the beginner's routes at Dalby and Hamsterley Forests where I usually get overtaken by little kids with stabilisers, and a bit of riding up and down kerbs occasionally, I don't really do off road. Technical riding is not a concept I'm even remotely familiar with. On the bus I mostly...

The Apathy Square: Sheep Farming for Beginners - The perks of doing voluntary work
http://theapathysquare.blogspot.com/2015/04/sheep-farming-for-beginners-perks-of.html
101 things I did before I died. Thursday, 30 April 2015. Sheep Farming for Beginners - The perks of doing voluntary work. Yesterday I was trying to explain to a group of young people what the point of voluntary work is. It can be a shocking concept to some people the idea of working without getting paid. Don't get me wrong, I like money as much as the next person, but sometimes it's just not a good enough reason to do things. Catching Lambs - easy once you know how. Because I'm sort of an expert in Engli...

The Apathy Square: A Freddo bar away from death - How I became a lazy cyclist
http://theapathysquare.blogspot.com/2013/01/a-freddo-bar-away-from-death-how-i_17.html
101 things I did before I died. Thursday, 17 January 2013. A Freddo bar away from death - How I became a lazy cyclist. In the first few month of 2009 I hardly did any cycling at all. The tablets I'd been on since 2002 to treat my arthritis I think had stopped working. Since 2008 my symptoms had been getting a lot worse, and we almost didn't book a cycle tour in either 2008 or 2009, because both times I doubted whether I'd be up to it physically. Sunday 10th May 2009. A glass related puncture. How une...

The Apathy Square: Cycling the Length of Britain - It's like a Saga Holiday but without the bus
http://theapathysquare.blogspot.com/2015/06/cycling-length-of-britain-its-like-saga.html
101 things I did before I died. Tuesday, 2 June 2015. Cycling the Length of Britain - It's like a Saga Holiday but without the bus. I wrote about the trip here. And this is the bunch of total strangers I did it with. Actually Land's End to John o' Groats was pretty easy. I just followed this massive purple line. Look what I won in the room-mate Lottery. This apple pie isn't fattening enough. Can I please have a teapot full of double cream to pour over it? Amongst other things I got slightly electrocuted&...

The Apathy Square: I'm on a mission... And a bit like the Terminator I cannot be stopped!
http://theapathysquare.blogspot.com/2015/06/im-on-mission-and-bit-like-terminator-i.html
101 things I did before I died. Friday, 26 June 2015. I'm on a mission. And a bit like the Terminator I cannot be stopped! Millions of small corrections just like that. And then today a Polish person once! Although to be fair, his was a delayed reaction, and he could have been laughing at the silence in the room. Why do I even want to teach English? Anyway, here are some of my absolute side-splitting favourites. I hope you like them. In case you think I was just being not funny for the sake of it...Becau...

The Apathy Square: July 2015
http://theapathysquare.blogspot.com/2015_07_01_archive.html
101 things I did before I died. Monday, 27 July 2015. CELTA - Adventures assemble. Thinking outside the box, finding your inner Super-hero and starting to believe. Last year I went on a crazy expedition, cycling from Land's End to John o' Groats, with a group of 18 strangers, many of them North Americans. We journeyed the length of Britain following a continuous purple line. This year's five letter acronym of doom was called CELTA. I know some people who've done the CELTA before. They told me it was ...
