Friday, September 30, 2005. One Week Until Departure. So I decided the best way to keep in touch with friends and family while i'm away in Chicago is (drumroll please), BLOGGING! That's right, a blog completely dedicated to my life as I now know it, in the Windy City. Over the past two days I've realized how many people I care so much about and I refuse to let distance come between my friendships. For my friends at work (woo-hoo TV Guide! Tuesday, March 07, 2006. My sister was right, I need to post about our fun-filled family weekend in Chicago! Lucky me, my mom and sister surprised me this week and flew out here! My mom flew out last Monday and my sister came last Friday. They left on Sunday, which was entirely too soon for me.
