Thoughts From Andy Wood. Practical and simple thoughts on life. Tuesday, June 14, 2011. A few extra days in Addis. Unfortunately, there was no room in the inn for our team. I located my room, dropped off my bags then headed back to the lobby to try and make connection with Stacie. It took me almost two hours to get connected, send her an email and get a reply. I finally retired for sleep at 2:30am. Pray that God would protect her and the boys physically, emotionally, and spiritually. PS, tomorrow is my 30.

Isaiah 9:6-7 has been on my heart for a couple of weeks during this Christmas season. This prophesy was spoken by Isaiah hundreds of years before Jesus was born of a virgin in an ordinary manger in Bethlehem. Jesus fulfilled all the prophecies spoken about him in the Old Testament. Our church is now about 10 weeks old and we have been running about 130-170 every sunday. We have been so blessed by all the volunteers and people willing to give of their time to make South Bay Church happen. We held 2 Easter services this past sunday and had 285 people! 160;We had 9 first time decisions for Christ, and 35 first time guests!

It's so weird starting a new setting, where I'm expected to know everything, yet nothing! In so many ways, I know that this is where God has called me in my life right now, but everyday I just keep wondering exactly where I'm supposed to be serving.
