Be grateful for what you've got. Wednesday, December 3, 2008. Once Jocie was finished with her "Black Friday" shift at Nordstrom, we took off to the great southern Utah. We met up with my family, who had been there since Wed, and had a great trip. I got to go biking with my three brothers for the first time in my life. We rode Bear Claw Poppy and I'll add pic's of it later. Our Nephew Willie doing a pull-up. We hit up the new In-n-Out burger just outside of St. George and it was crazy busy!

Adventures of a Family of Hicks. Aug 18, 2013. The archery hunt brought a big crowd this year. Both Nick and Travis had tags, so Travis' dad came as well as Nick and Mindy, Cael, Savanna, Nick's parents, and Mindy's mom. Monday, March 16, 2015. I truly feel like this little city is an answer to our prayers and the exact place we need to be at this time in our life. Some features we benefit from include: a short work commute for Wyatt, living very close to Puget Sound (which makes for excellent runs), views of Mt. Rainer from our kitchen window, close proximity to the airport (I love, LOVE watching the planes land/take-off), and a house rental with a garage, washer/dryer, and a yard (! Adventures of a Family of Hicks. Nov 24, 2013. So even though it was bad weather, it helps slow us down and we get to relax more. So it turned out to be a great weekend. Oh and I even got my new bed too! King size, memory foam. I was a little leary about the memory foam but was thrilled to get a king size bed. Turns out it took me over a month to be ok with the bed and it still isn't my favorite but I'm not complaining and it is really good on my back since memory foam helps align everything.
