My Mouth Overloaded My ASS: February 2011
http://mymouthoverloadedmyass.blogspot.com/2011_02_01_archive.html
My Mouth Overloaded My ASS. I was approved for permanent disability. Aka SSI. Yeah! I mean it is good that I was finally approved but still surreal and scary at the same time. I am 39 years old (try not to spread that around too much will ya? And it hits me more a little bit everyday that this is where my life is right now. Totally NOT where I had thought, hoped or planned to be at this time in my life, ya know? I now also have Medicare. Yeah! God help us all). First Even if you haven’t reached the...

My Mouth Overloaded My ASS: March 2011
http://mymouthoverloadedmyass.blogspot.com/2011_03_01_archive.html
My Mouth Overloaded My ASS. Ever wonder what would happen if cats had opposable thumbs. Originally I was planning on posting a nice piece about Fat Tuesday and Lent and what this means to Catholics and me (really). BUT earlier today a friend of mine sent me this video and I just couldn't help but to share it. I mean most likely I will post the piece on Lent later on during Lent, I mean I have 40 days, but I HAD to share this one today! This is for all of the Cat. Links to this post. This Page is Rated.

Lee's Blog: Freaky Friday: Ghostbusters
http://leecooknet.blogspot.com/2010/09/freaky-friday-ghostbusters.html
Tuesday, September 7, 2010. I've been preoccupied with other things the last few days, like not laboring on Labor Day. So this is a couple of days late.but definitely worth the wait. I even did a great deal of research on the topic. When my dad caught me reading a guide to haunted houses in colonial America, he gave me that look as if to say, "I'm not getting grandchildren, am I? Well in your face, dad! The movie does go a bit astray with a 100 foot marshmallow man, but all in all this script is full of ...

Lee's Blog: Freaky Friday- Ninja 3: the Domination
http://leecooknet.blogspot.com/2011/02/freaky-friday-ninja-3-domination.html
Friday, February 18, 2011. Freaky Friday- Ninja 3: the Domination. When they decided to make "the Domination" it was the 3rd in the series so they called it Ninja 3. Not very inspiring, but hey it was the 80's. This film is truly amazing- a time capsule of all that was great (and awful) about the mid 80's. If you're homesick for the cheese of the 80's (and who isn't? Then you're in luck. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). What movie should Lee review next? Other blogs I follow. Life as I know it.

Lee's Blog: Happy Birthday!
http://leecooknet.blogspot.com/2011/03/happy-birthday.html
Friday, March 11, 2011. This date really sneaked up on me! I was wondering if the milk was still good and realized that today is an incredibly monumental occasion. On March 11, 1990 I became a Christian. Exactly 21 years ago, I experienced the love of God in a very powerful way. I emphasize "experienced" because there is no way other way to describe it. I remember where I was, the smells, the sounds; even Mitch Dunn sitting across the desk with his out-of-style helmet haircut. Other blogs I follow.

Friday, September 17, 2010. Freaky Friday: Point Break. I am an F-B-I agent". Those immortal words ring throughout the history of cinema- a reminder to all that real talent is overrated. If I've said it once, I've said it a thousand times, "Keanu Reeves don't make a bad movie." And this is indeed no exception to that rule (however "A Walk in the Clouds" might be). Running Time- 126 minutes. This movie works on every level. It has been copied but never duplicated (aka Fast and Furious). And if you doubt t...

Monday, August 30, 2010. Hair Metal Monday: Power Ballads. Never post prom pictures on the internet. There are three criteria that make a song a power ballad: Obviously it is slower (so you can slow dance), the singer has to look incredibly melancholy (extra points if the music video follows a story line where a beautiful model breaks up with the lead singer and/or dies), and it must contain a righteous guitar solo. So here are my top ten power ballads. 7 Alone Again by Dokken- no explanation needed.
