The First Thing Spot Should Learn ~ | Blog on Dogs, a community for entertainment and information
https://blogondogs.wordpress.com/2006/09/22/the-first-thing-little-spot-should-learn-2
Blog on Dogs, a community for entertainment and information. The First Thing Spot Should Learn. The first concern most people have when taking home a new puppy is: Housebreaking! While this is an important issue, when it comes to commands, the very first one you should teach your dog is one word: NO! Put this on the dog’s collar ONLY when you’re at home and have supervision of little Spot. This is very important, because a puppy can get tangled and end up strangling himself on the leash. Despite ...Secon...

Blog on Dogs, a community for entertainment and information. My problem is…. While we are not veterinarians, if you’ll tell us what your problem is we’ll do our best to tell you what has worked for us. We’ll also give you some sites to go to for more information. Our visitors are welcome to share their advice. I have a 7 yr. old cocker spaniel. We adopted it a year ago from a resuce shelter. Unfortunately, she has long ears and is always rubbing them on the carpet. Got any ideas on how we can help her?

Blog on Dogs, a community for entertainment and information. Is Fido Right for Your Family? Finding a new puppy or adult dog is a great, fun experience. Along with having fun getting all those warm kisses, there are several ways you can check a dog’s temperament in order to figure out whether or not it will be a good fit for your home and family. But shortly afterward, he should recover from his fear, and may come over to the keys to investigate. If he cowers under a chair indefinitely, keep looking!

See from their eyes. | storytelling

Thoughts on people, our interactions, and the stories that create us. See from their eyes. Posted September 21, 2006. On my cork-board, above my desk, hangs a list of storytelling facets that I try to employ whenever I write. Soon, I will remove this list and print a new one, having added this:. Reveal the world from the perspective of others. Just the way I like it. Laquo; Writing as passion. Characters in turmoil. ». 2 comments so far. On September 26, 2006. Thoughts on people, our interactions, and the stories that create us. Posted October 22, 2006. Whether you call it rewriting or editing, it comes down to rethinking the story as it is now. To achieve perfection in storytelling you must edit and you must rewrite. If the two are any different, the difference is, rewriting is more intimate and personal. In Max Barry’s. 8220; The First Draft. But with so much perspective, how do you know who to listen to? Maybe you have a single person you trust; maybe a han...
Tell every story. | storytelling

Thoughts on people, our interactions, and the stories that create us. Posted October 6, 2006. We tell each other stories to relate. Much of the time, though, we think we can’t. Do we all have basically the same experiences? No That can’t be. Or could it? Do the same thoughts rotate through each of our heads? It’s cool to think the answer could be yes. But we don’t act the same. What about multiple realities? Yes, information is usually revealed slowly, but it should be. At a basic level, this keeps t...

Thoughts on people, our interactions, and the stories that create us. Posted December 1, 2006. We should not discount the experiences we have or the people who come into our lives. We should try to see experiences and people with wide open eyes. Everything and each person has it or his or her place; we should honor this by trying our hardest to find that place. On being alone. | storytelling

Thoughts on people, our interactions, and the stories that create us. Posted November 23, 2006. I have an itch: I want to take a train ride. I have successfully idealized this itch like I have many others. I would go alone and, if possible, be gone longer than I could handle being gone– but being gone a while is part of the romance. I would feel free. I would feel unattached. I would act as though I had no possessions– only my memories to grapple with and dreams to dream. Laquo; Life as story. I didnR...
Life as story. | storytelling
https://ginsprich.wordpress.com/2006/11/12/life-as-story
Thoughts on people, our interactions, and the stories that create us. Posted November 12, 2006. In my mind I can see the past, vividly and without any sense of reality. I imagine the way life could have been and the way life was. I don’t re-imagine the past purposefully; my mind goes memory-jumping, and I am left as a passive observer of false realities. Have I taken on a life of my own? Will I end up breathing in the rain? Maybe But the story could always take a turn. Laquo; The story is inside and out.
The story is inside and out. | storytelling

Thoughts on people, our interactions, and the stories that create us. The story is inside and out. Posted November 4, 2006. Imagine Emily Dickinson writing most of her hundreds of poems. Only seven of which were published before her death in 1886, in her second-floor bedroom. While Dickinson is seen as a great poet, applying her methods of solidarity seems detrimental to living a full, healthy life. Every now and then, you just have to give your life up let go, become detached. This time, however, the do...

Thoughts on people, our interactions, and the stories that create us. Posted September 28, 2006. Filed under: Film Noir. I set out to know who put her in the spot, who put her in front of the gun. That was you, angel. Brendan, from Brick. To borrow the phrase, you have to put your characters in front of the gun. Situations have to get dicey. You gotta shake things up. If you don’t, if you let your characters sit in their boring self-complacency, you should ask yourself, what’s the point? Why am I writing?

This site is a place for me to talk about horses, dressage and equine products. Monday, May 01, 2006. Posted by Dressage Princess @ 2:54 PM. Friday, April 28, 2006. So I wrote in my last posting that my husband and I are closing on 20 acres of land. I was fortunate enough as a child to grow up on a small horse farm, but I have missed living on one every day since. I couldn't stop screaming and jumping up and down with excitement. We were about to be land owners! How cool is that? Tuesday, April 25, 2006.
