Lilypie - Fifth Birthday. Lilypie - Second Birthday. Monday, June 30, 2014. We also celebrated Father's Day this month. It was just a low key day hanging out at home and swimming. Then we had steak for dinner. It was a much needed relaxing day. We are getting ready for our trip to Michigan in a few weeks. Traveling with two kids requires lots of prep! Especially since this is the first time we have flown with kids. It will definitely be a new experience for everyone, but we are all excited!

Lilypie - Fifth Birthday. Lilypie - Second Birthday. Sunday, April 10, 2016. Madeline made her appearance on Wednesday April 6 at 5:58am. It was fast as we expected and we got to make it a family experience as well. It was awesome. I am so glad we were able to have the delivery experience we did with our whole family there. And I am really glad we decided to leave the house when we did, if we had waited until my water broke we wouldn't have made it to the hospital before she was born. My Life Out Loud.

Friday, October 26, 2012. My first boy turned 5! How do they just keep getting older? He's halfway to 10! He is going to kindergarten in 10 months. What in the world? We were at the hospital by 4am. They got us in a labor testing room to make sure I was in labor. I told them if I wasn't in labor, I was going home with an epidural because this was crazy. Sure enough, I was definitely in labor. They started IV's and couldn't get them in fast enough. I was desperately wanting that epi! Washed with a Red Sock.
