August 19, 2013. Upon graduating in 2010, my best friend, my (then) boyfriend and I moved to Shanghai. After a year of studying Chinese, I returned to the US to become an adult and work, and shortly after, became engaged to said boyfriend. I planned a wedding, got married, and now, I’m back in China.
