Where the Blog Bloobs! Monday, December 28, 2009. Muesli.with TVP.it works! I could not even tell the difference! Today, since I had only regular oats, and I forgot to soak them, I didn't add any oats, just the fruit, nuts, yogurt.and it worked very well too! As a matter of fact, the taste with or without oats is pretty much the same! So if you wanna try, just soak your TVP, then drain and refrigerate, in the morning (or whenever you like) mix with whatever you want and enjoy! Sunday, December 20, 2009.

This is a recipe for yeast corn bread which is common in Portugal, and Brazil.Usually is made using only white flour, but I prefer to make with half white, and half whole wheat. Portuguese Corn Bread (for 2 loaves). 1 Tbsp active dry yeast. 1 cup warm water. 2 cups whole grain cornmeal. 2 cups all purpose flour. 2 cups whole wheat flour. 2 Tbsp and 2tsp vital wheat gluten. 2 Tbsp extra virgin olive oil. 1 cup warm milk. Some ricotta(the kind that is like a firm white cheese) or other similar white cheese. Slices of tomato (also good with sun dried tomatoes packed in oil, if you choose this, omit the butter or margarine). One or two hearts of palm, sliced. Freshly ground black pepper.
