http://badguysandvillains.blogspot.com/2008_06_01_archive.html
Bad Guys and Villains. Monday, June 23, 2008. Meet Duke Ernesto of Savona - Bloodstone Castle by Mirella Patzer. Who causes friction is the story? I have two antagonists in my novel, Bloodstone Castle. The main villain is Duke Ernesto of Savona. He is a gambler who has lost his family’s wealth and becomes desperate to replenish his diminished coffers. He sets his hopes on the Contessa Morena of Portovenere to get his hands on the ancient buried treasure beneath her castle. How do you use your bad guys?

It is All In The Setting. Sunday, June 22, 2008. Setting For Outlaw in Petticoats. Why did you pick the setting you used in your story? I'm not looking for - "because I live there". I want you to dig deep and tell us. Why you chose that particular setting? What does the setting add to the story? Could you write the same story in a different setting? I could but I wouldn't have been able to use the historic facts that I learned and put to use in the story to make it work the way it does. Http:/ www.th...

Share Your Heroine: June 2008
http://shareyourheroine.blogspot.com/2008_06_01_archive.html
Wednesday, June 25, 2008. Meet Contessa Morena Monterossa of Portovenere of Bloodstone Castle. What’s her name? Contessa Morena Monterossa of Portovenere. Why did you pick that name? The name Morena is an authentic Italian medieval name. I wanted my heroine to have a title, one level of nobility lower than the ducal status of the hero and villain. This made her more vulnerable to both powerful men. Give us a brief description of how she looks. Is there anything unusual about her appearance? Morena is the...

Sharon’s Writing Lab. Experimental Writing From Sharon Hurley Hall. Skip to primary content. Bloodstone Castle – Author’s Site. May 22, 2008. I’ve been checking out a new blog recently. It’s an author site for a forthcoming novel called Bloodstone Castle. It’s set in Genoa, and the site has a lot of information about the history of the city. And some of the locations used in the book. I especially like the post about pesto sauce. This entry was posted in Writing. By Sharon Hurley Hall.
