Lessons, blessings and everyday ironies of aging semi-gracefully. Sunday, October 11, 2009. Midlife Birthdays: Hold the Candles, Please. blooming in midlife: Getting Published!

http://bloominginmidlife.blogspot.com/2011/02/getting-published.html

Lessons, blessings and everyday ironies of aging semi-gracefully. Friday, February 18, 2011. One of the things I find so difficult about having a blog is actually trying to keep up with it in the spare 4-5 hours when I'm not comatose. One of the downsides of middle age is that you find whenever you have extra time, all you want to do is sleep. Butreason to write and cheer. One of my previous posts, "Red Sauce," was selected out of 600 entries in a recent competition by Creative Nonfiction.org.

June 21, 2016. As-Salaamu ‘Alaykum,. I hope you’re all well. Recently I made biscotti. This is my first time making biscotti and Alhamdulillaah it came out great. It was a recipe that someone shared with me. My favorite part of this dessert is the bits of chocolate chunks that are added to the dough. I love having this with teat and milk. I used not to be very fond of biscotti. But I think it’s starting to grow on me now. What have y’all been baking lately? Please share, I’d love to see. June 21, 2016.
