It was a short but fun visit. The kids just love to talk their ears off and show them everything they own (uh em Estelle). We got some sun so we drove up Pillar Mt and got a nice view of the city. Ingrid really warmed up to them, especially Poopa. Showing off their loot. The adults watching from the top. Mennonite girls can cook.

We had my brother Matt and Reese's sister Cortnae's husband Mike here for Thanksgiving this year! Matt had never visited us here before so he had planned to come up. Then we asked if Mike wanted to come over on the ferry from Homer. He's been on the Kenai Peninsula and hopefully the rest of his family will join him there shortly! I am very thankful for family this year!

Friday, May 18, 2012. This is the home we bought! I took these pictures a few months ago on my phone, during the home inspection. We are so happy to have a place to call our own! Back of house. Casey is using the skyscraper old tv antenna as a ladder to the roof. Big backyard. Soon to be fenced. Note: The trailer house, and boards on the window of the other blue house, are not an accurate representation of the neighborhood we live in. ;). This is the breezeway! I love our breezeway! Jesse, Stephanie, and Ethan Holt. Sunday, April 26, 2009. Well, I have discovered the root of all my maladies. Low ferritin levels. Mine are at 7! My doctor told me they are supposed to be 50-70 for optimal health. I am now on a massive dose of iron and B12 (it was low too), and the next step is a visit to a hematologist to see why my iron levels got this low in the first place. I'm pretty excited!
