Eat Well Be Well: March 2010
http://armindacoombs.blogspot.com/2010_03_01_archive.html
Friday, March 12, 2010. Why I Have Embraced Naturopathic Medicine. This last week I suffered from some sort of intestinal infection. When I first felt it on Sunday morning and experienced a couple bouts of vomiting I figured it was the stomach flu, but as it went on throughout the week it was obvious I was suffering from something more. Why am I writing about this? It really is miserable being in. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Helping people to reap the rewards of eating real foods. View my complete profile.

Eat Well Be Well: Granola Your Way
http://armindacoombs.blogspot.com/2010/11/granola-your-way.html
Sunday, November 14, 2010. My husband is amazed at all the "junk" e-mail I recieve daily. I admit I do sign up for a lot of newsletters. Some I skim and delete, others I delete pretty much right away, but there are a few of my favorites where I take the time to really read. Are two that fall in the later category. Granola Your Way from Vanessa Barrington. 1/3 to 1/2 Cup fat (butter, coconut oil, olive oil). 1/3 cup Sweetener agave syrup, honey, maple syrup (1/2) or brown sugar (1/2). 6Bake until evenly b...

Eat Well Be Well: October 2009
http://armindacoombs.blogspot.com/2009_10_01_archive.html
Sunday, October 25, 2009. To maintain stable blood sugar levels (between 90-100mg) it is best to eat meals that consist of a balance between healthy fats, clean proteins and complex carbohydrates. The majority of foods at a continental breakfast are refined carbs, with very little protein. The girls didn't stand much of a chance of performing their best on a soccer field two hours after their high sugar meals. Monday, October 19, 2009. To make your own nut butters, simply toast your nuts of choice (one t...

Eat Well Be Well: Changes
http://armindacoombs.blogspot.com/2011/02/changes.html
Wednesday, February 9, 2011. The one constant in life is change. A new door has opened for me and I have decided, after much deliberation, to start a new business, necessitating the need to close Eat Well Be Well. For almost five years, I have been blessed to be able to share the benefits of eating real foods with clients and organizations. I am truly saddened to let go of this business. The Camas Farmer's Market. And the Vancouver Food Co-op. My new endeavor, you may ask? Or 360.694.7994. Naturopathic C...

Eat Well Be Well: A Year of Expansion
http://armindacoombs.blogspot.com/2010/01/year-of-expansion.html
Sunday, January 17, 2010. A Year of Expansion. I hope no one is thinking of expansion in terms of weight gain! No, my year of expansion has to do with personal growth, not growth of a waistline. My friend Kathy. Sent me a blog entry. About foregoing New Year's resolutions and instead choosing a word to live your year by. You can choose any word but some examples are Love, Joy, Action, Discipline, Release, Adventure. I loved the idea, but there are so many great words! In addition to starting my art class.
