Eastmond Parris WORLD: A Nation of Infinite Possibilities
http://eastmondparrisworld.blogspot.com/2008/02/country-of-infinite-possibilities.html
From Barbados to the World. Wednesday, February 13, 2008. A Nation of Infinite Possibilities. There were no weapons of mass destruction - some of us were not surprised. It is expected that the United States will send a Democrat to the Whitehouse, but that is far from certain. At the end of the day what makes business sense will prevail - a health care plan will not pay for itself. The effective management of the economy will become the all-important issue. What does this all mean for us?

Barbados Entertainment: Riotously Funny!
http://enjoybajan.blogspot.com/2008/03/riotously-funny.html
Sunday, March 23, 2008. These days of course there is nothing more topical than the Barbados General Elections and every effort was made by the script writers to be neutral and pardon me if I say inclusive! The caricatures of the politicians were tastefully done - which is moreso a credit to the script writers than to some of the politicians that were portrayed. It was nice too that some were in the audience! Take a bow cast and crew! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Billboard.com Music Charts.

Eastmond Parris WORLD: March 2008
http://eastmondparrisworld.blogspot.com/2008_03_01_archive.html
From Barbados to the World. Sunday, March 23, 2008. An Invitation to Bush's Whitehouse. In a previous article we highlighted presedential hopeful Barack Obama focusing on tax havens. This should not be a worry for Barbados since Barbados is not a tax haven, although it will take the Americans some time to figure this out. At least from this meeting it would be clear that Barbados, the Bahamas and Belize are distinct countries. Friday, March 21, 2008. Should Barbados be worried? Senator Barack Obama, the ...

Eastmond Parris WORLD: Should Barbados be worried?
http://eastmondparrisworld.blogspot.com/2008/03/should-barbados-be-worried.html
From Barbados to the World. Friday, March 21, 2008. Should Barbados be worried? Should Barbados then be worried by a renewed interest in Tax Havens that was addressed back in 2001 through the OECD Initiative on Harmful Tax Competition? This theme will have resonance with the American public since few people understand the complexities of wealth or tax planning. Why should they be bothered to make the distinction between abuse and tax planning? Barbados is not a tax haven, does not have secrecy laws and h...
