Today, I went to Convent St. Takla, Maalula which is 50 km from Damascus. It is a nice gateaway from the city as it is much cooler up here and houses here are interesting. They are built on the faces of rock!

Zermatt and Venice might not be the cheapest places to be but I've blown my budget so that I can enjoy the best fine dining in both places. Dinner at the water side was a true experience of how to take things at a stroll. I paid 140 Swiss franc (Malaysian Ringgit 500) for a superior room but it worth every good memory.
