Ripening plums that got "picked" too early? - Can-Do...

Ripening plums that got "picked" too early? No Matter Where You Are. 21 August 2008 @ 04:51 pm. Ripening plums that got "picked" too early? This is our first year with a plum tree, and we had about 2 dozen growing very nicely until last night/this morning. Something came and knocked down about half of them, ate most of those, and broke one of the branches holding some of the other ripening fruit. As I was trying to rig a net over the last branch of fruit, it broke off. :/. 3 comments Leave a comment.

Its Just Me (. Hi, I'm new. I'm not quite sure how this community works but I'll stalk for a while and see what I can't learn. I do have uber amounts of seeds this year to swap out though. Do people sometimes swap seed this year for credit next year? The one thing I'm looking for is - Big Rainbow Tomato seeds. My usual provider didn't have any this year. This is my list for this year that I have :. Multicolored Pole Bean Mix. Kandy Korn Yellow Sweet Corn. Little Marvel Shell Pea. Hopi Red Dye Amaranth.

Can anyone tell me how to do Notes on Flickr? 1 comment Leave a comment. On May 27th, 2008 04:25 pm (UTC). Sorry about the tomato plant, but it looks like a wilt to me. If that is the case, you're just SOL, I'm afraid. Can't really do much about wilts except try to prevent them, once the plant has it, its pretty much no use bothering with it. 1 comment Leave a comment.

To anyone interested and promising to grow them out (and preferably pass them on), I have a special kind of garlic called Nootka Rose that keeps extremely well, a soft neck that is good for braiding. I might not check here often so leave me a note on my blog and I'll get back. Also have lots of Kingship parsnip seeds, but they don't remain viable all that long. Post a new comment. A friend had a 20 foot chestnut that wasn't bearing because it had no pollination, and the 2 year old plant I planted next to the mature one started flowering at 5 years and enabled the older tree to bear a couple 5 gallon buckets of nuts (without outer hulls) this last fall.
