Blue-Eyed Belle and Baby. Thursday, September 29, 2011. I flew into Oklahoma City on Wednesday. (One of the best commerical landings I have ever had.) Jim picked me up and we stayed in OKC that night. We spent the next day exploring OKC (the art museum and the zoo). I was not impressed by this "big city" at all. It just lacked character that said "Hey, you are in Oklahoma! Where the wind comes sweeping down the plains! But, OKC did offer us a reprieve from many days at Altus. Thursday, September 15, 2011.

I especially love sweets that contain chocolate (which I consider to be an essential food group). Yesterday, I had an intense craving for something yummy. I asked Jim for his input on what to get or make. He requested "homemade cupcakes". I don't usually make cupcakes from scratch (Betty Crocker does it so much better! But I decided to give it a try. Monday, July 27, 2015. It is official. Z is a WO. An official USAF Weapons Officer. Goal = met. His dream came true. And that is awesome. It was a long 5 months. But it was worth it. I am so proud of him. And I am so glad it is over! His course takes place all over the United States. but graduation is in Vegas! I took the red eye down a few days early to be reunited with my husband. It was not hard to convince me to take a few days of PTO to hang out with my husband. Shocking I know. ;o). Wug 1 no more!
