The Colleen party was nice and low key. We went to a place called Jack's in San Bruno. It was a bit pricy for my taste, but plenty tasty for the price. Besides, not only were we celebrating Colleen's cancerlessness, but I wasn't picking up the bill. (Michelle bought my food in thanks for the ride.). No He wasn't. Decision Made. Life Changed. I have accepted the job offer. As of 4/14/14, two years and 10 days after my layoff, I will be employed as a Release Engineer once again. (At almost twice. The pay rate as I was making at my old job! First thing I did after getting off the phone with HR was call home. First my dad's place: His fax machine answers. Try his cell? Straight to voicemail. I was invited to an Ingress build today: Bailing on that. There's a potluck for Harish (freshly back from India) at HQ tonight: Probably bailing on that, too.
