But, for now, here's an incredibly creative video from OK Go, and a pretty good jam to get you through a tough day. Posted by J.D. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Football Fans' Bill of Rights. Portland Timbers: a View from the North End: February 2011
http://portlandtimbersmls.blogspot.com/2011_02_01_archive.html
Portland Timbers: a View from the North End. Thursday, February 17, 2011. A Belated Sal-entine's Day Present. Timbers trade for Sal Zizzo from Chivas USA. The kid went crazy at the U-20 World Cup in Canada a few years back, then spent a few years in the Hannover 96 Reserves in Germany, making a few first team appearance. I'm very excited about this trade. Pore on the left and Zizzo on the right- we'll be a dangerous team with speed and dribbling skills down the wings. Posted by J.D. Posted by J.D. Owners...

Portland Timbers: a View from the North End. Friday, February 26, 2010. Even more new Timbers. Http:/ www.oursportscentral.com/services/releases/? Timbers add 3 new players. I like 1, but the jury's out on the other 2. GK: Matt Pyzdrowski, a recent graduate of Marquette U. Mid: Derek Gaudet, a Canadian U-23 and recent National Team camp callup. Fwd: Doug DeMartin, 2008 KC Wizards draftee. Adding Pyzdrowski means the Timbers have 3 'keepers: Cronin, Adin Brown, and Pyzdrowski. Why 3 GK? My prediction: I d...

Portland Timbers: a View from the North End: Escape from L.A.

Portland Timbers: a View from the North End. Wednesday, April 27, 2011. Escape from L.A. Http:/ sliderulepass.xanderkale.com/? As reflected in Slide Rule Pass's breakdown, our back 4 often get stretched out of position. I'm often anxious as I watch Wallace stray upfield or fail to cover the triangle with the other centre backs, when space opens up behind Wallace and between Wallace and the CBs. RSL on Saturday. http://desertcrown.blogspot.com/2010/03/2010-outlook-for-real-salt-lake.html
Soccer as it relates to Utah. Saturday, March 27, 2010. 2010 Outlook for Real Salt Lake. With the signing of the collective bargaining agreement, and then after watching the Philadelphia Union and Seattle Sounders kick off the season on Wednesday night, I officially have Real Salt Lake on the brain. Most of the preseason conversation has revolved around whether the 2009 cup title was a one and down deal, and how the team will react to the departure of Yura Movsisyan. 2 Can wins be found on the road.

Desert Crown: May 2005
http://desertcrown.blogspot.com/2005_05_01_archive.html
Soccer as it relates to Utah. Monday, May 30, 2005. Fire find their form against RSL. It was a game of firsts. The first MLS game at Rice-Eccles played on grass. The Chicago Fire were the first Eastern Conference team to visit Salt Lake. Not only was it Real Salt Lake's first loss at home, it was the worse margin of defeat all season, three goals to nil. And finally, it was the first time I had the opportunity to enter winning team's locker room. Armas was one of the more fun players to interview. Th...

Desert Crown: Opening Day Jitters
http://desertcrown.blogspot.com/2010/04/opening-day-jitters.html
Soccer as it relates to Utah. Tuesday, April 13, 2010. What a difference a goal makes. Before Saborio's header in the 94th minute I was ready to rant about poor finishing and wasted chances. But all of that frustration is gone with a great snap header. Add Will Johnson's fantastic diving header just after halftime and you have some feel good moments to counter balance the weight of two fatal defensive lapses. Posted by Scott @ 2:07 PM. I hope the ticket jam up doesnt affect future ticket sales.
