Welcome to our humble site! Which provides an update on our progress as we attempt to climb the highest mountain in each of New Zealand's 14 National Parks. The site will hopefully give you enough rendezvous information should you wish to join us on some climbs. We do not have a laptop and our schedule is tight, but when the weather packs a sad and a computer is nearby, we hope to update the diary and add a few photos. Due to weather, these plans will definitely change. Fri 20 December, 2002. Dave departs Auckland - climb Mt Manuoha. Sat 21 December, 2002. Drive to Mt Ruapehu - climb Mt Ruapehu. Sun 22 December, 2002. Depart Wanganui 5am to climb Te Maupo with Mike Claridge and maybe Lenka. could be a 14 hour mission. will stay in Stratford that night. Mon 23 December, 2002. Climb Mt Taranaki (weather permitting) from the Stratford side probably but may go from North Egmont. Tue 24 December, 2002. Fri 27 December, 2002.

All in all she climbed at least 8 mountains and enjoyed 9 National Parks, not a bad effort on a backpacker budget. Well done Lenka!
