Blue Earth Fire Department. The Blue Earth Fire Department was founded in 1891. We are a volunteer/paid on call fire department, which provides fire suppression and rescue services to the community of Blue Earth, Minnesota (pop. 3353) and the surrounding townships of Blue Earth, Jo Daviess, Pilot Grove, Prescott, and Verona.
