I know Halloween was two days ago, and we Americans don't really like looking back at holidays but instead look forward, but there are some observations I had that I just have to share with you all:. Your bathrobe is not a halloween costume. If you're going to do a funky/different costume, pick one that's at least somewhat recognizable. Hybrid or obscure costumes don't work. Yes, I am guilty of this one.

The pill and the question. July 05, 2006 : Blown away. I survived Hurricane Independence. Actually, it was a ferocious thunderstorm that lasted probably about 25 minutes, but it sure felt like being in a hurricane. I was out at Hain's Point at a friend's family barbecue, enjoying some ribs and potato salad and talking enough smack so that I could whoop whoever was left on the table when it was my turn to play dominoes. You know what though? The ribs were worth it. lip smackin' good.

The sin of low expectations. The memo I didnt send. October 02, 2003 : New music! My Amazon order arrived yesterday. I got Erykah Badu's World Wide Underground. Zapp and Roger All The Greatest Hits. Erykah, I feel stiffed. Not stiff, as in "ooh Erykah Badu turns me on." Man, I'd be scared if Erykah turned me on. She turns brothas out! Look what she did to Andre. No, I feel stiffed. This album was just under 51 minutes long, with only 10 tracks, and one of those tracks is almost 11 minutes!
