We enjoyed our town's little parade, as always, and a mostly-quiet day at home. Opal is apparently the Goodwill Ambassador of our town. Wherever we take her, people want to pet her, which of course, she is happy to oblige them. The parade is always led by our local vintage police car. Always reminds me of Andy and Barney. The always popular Lawnmower Brigade.

It's not my favorite season because it means winter is coming soon, but it does bring the opportunity for lots of leaves to use in the garden. I fenced in the small portion of garden that is still producing and let the chickens and ducks run the rest of it. Who We Are. We are a chapter of the Achilles International. Based in New York City, New York. We help disabled persons train and compete in mainstream athletics. We meet on Sunday mornings at 7:00-7:30am for a meet and greet, then run at 7:30. For the Fall training season, we will be meeting under the Big Four Bridge at Waterfront park.
