Monday, April 13, 2009. What have we been up to? Hamish's 13th birthday. We took a friend from . School to The Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary. . Finally we got to see and cuddle a Koala! 160;Also saw Dingos, Wombats, Snakes and . Probably the best bit was the Birds of Prey. 160;Hamish got to hold a Sea Eagle - quite. 160;heavy for a bird 3 kgs plus a 6ft wing span. A family picnic at the Gold Coast in March. Fairly lumpy surf but still good fun. Shooting the tube at wet-n-wild! We all had a great day here.

Sunday, September 13, 2009. Long time no blog! Well goodness me time flies when you're at work! Here we are and it's September. We have been here in Redland Bay 7 months. I am enjoying teaching here in Australia. This is despite a very unsupportive state government who refuses to pay teachers here a decent wage. Tuesday, October 29, 2013. A long time ago. It's been ages since I last blogged. Life is ticking along at a faster pace now I am at work most days, infact starting next week I will be full time. Everything is going along great. We are meant to be having our first real Queensland storm today, we had all the warning last night to be prepared but as yet nothing other than some grey sky and windy winds. Thursday, July 24, 2014. I haven't been keeping this up to date sorry. Nearly everyone is on Facebook so keeps up with us. For those who aren't. All is well in our world. I (Tanya) have a job with All About Living http:/ www.allaboutliving.com.au/ as a support worker. I get given a weekly job list and go out in the community visiting elders and help them with whatever is necessary for them to stay in their own home rather than go into care. Other than that we are all ticking along. Reubs B'day at the zoo.

Thursday, September 18, 2014. I'm getting worse at keeping this up to date. Blame facebook! Johan is in a new job and finding it much better. The dynamics in managemnet are much nicer, he also gets to do project managing as well as tendering, so gets out of the office a bit more and it gives him more variety. Reubs is still doing his catalogue deliveries but still hopeful that he will be asked to go back to do the same Christmas job we did last year. Think that's about it from here for now, we are still ...
