NO WAY TO START A NEW YEAR. If there is anybody reading this in the 70 to 80 year age group make sure you arrange for the vaccination I would not wish this illness on anyone believe me. Not that I saw much of it but we have had a lot of sunshine in January though accompanied by a cold wind which dropped the temperature considerably and as I type this we have had a day of wind, very heavy rain accompanied by thunder. Must say it had not done a lot of good as Kit said the place stank of cigarette smoke.

At Lagos one of the two Franks on site had bought himself a Drone and after a bit of practice took some photos from above the campsite,you can see them HERE. As well as young Olympic hopefuls practising their sailng. The Drone definitely comes into the Big Boy's Toys. Car boots can be fun especially the haggling as it seems many Portuguese consider visitors to be very rich and to be truthful that's quite true in the eyes of the very poor. Which we found much more interesting. ENJOY, cheers, Jack n Kit.
