Comic Book Moms: BIRTHDAY DRIVE
http://www.comicbookmom.org/p/birthday-drive.html
The newly established Comic Book Moms Birthday Drive. Is an effort to provide magical moments for little superheroes in need on their special day. Each month we collect product, donations, and materials that are put together in a birthday basket to help create a festive, memorable birthday for a child in need. Many families do not have the means to put enough food on the supper table, let alone spring for a cake, present, and decorations for their child's birthday. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Comic Book Moms: Using Our Powers For MEGA GOOD
http://www.comicbookmom.org/2012/08/using-our-powers-for-mega-good.html

Eastern Kentucky has three of top impoverished counties in the nation. There are way too many future superheroes out there suffering with less-than-adequate access to primary needs and every-day wants! But there are very few organizations covering some special desires of these children (who did not ask to be born into an economically depressed situation.).
