50 States for 50 Years. Sunday, February 27, 2011. Remember the doggie bag from the Lolo Steakhouse? We both enjoyed our leftovers as we flew to Oakland. Once in Oakland we had to somehow get to the San Francisco Airport for our late night flight back to Dallas. We contemplated on the BART or a shuttle van but opted for a private driver. We negotiated to what the shuttle would have cost and was on our way. 1 private driver /car. 40 states to go! Blue Mountain Bed and Breakfast. Tuesday, February 22, 2011.

A Mom’s Journey. Through infertility, adoption, parenting, faith…. How We Became Three. I really can’t explain why. But the tragic event of 9/11 brought us together to the consensus of adoption. Unfortunately the added stress of my husband’s job also brought illness. He lost an amazing amount of weight and was obviously having digestive distress. More delays as he is ultimately diagnosed with Crohn’s disease and strives to get his health back under control. It was a very emotional time for all of us....
