With Glimpses of Creeks and a Vision of Mosses". Sunday, 26 April 2015. Having recently shown you historic photos of Honour Avenue I thought it would be good to show how our town commemorated 100 years of Anzac today. This year the parade did a loop of the gardens ending at the Memorial at the top where the service and wreath laying was held. The other feature of the Autumn garden are the hundreds of small pine cones that fall from the pine trees at the front and cover our world in yellow pollen but the rain has washed that down. Cape Town - Part 2. Oct 31st, 2016 at 1:55 PM. We walked from our hotel on the Foreshore to the V&A (Victoria and Alfred) Waterfront. It used to be the major dockyards for the city but now has largely been gentrified and upgraded for tourists and locals alike. The main docks are now elsewhere but it sometimes still gets some maritime trade.
