Saturday, February 28, 2009. Sept, Oct, Nov, Dec, Jan, Feb. Today was last day of the 6th month of business for the Blue Rooster. We had a good day - breakfast served to over 20 folks and lunch served to well over 40. And we sold breads, pastries, COOKIES, CUPCAKES, olive oil, and a good number of other BR special treats. . Monday, April 19, 2010. Farmers, farm markets, living in NJ. When I was growing up in Cranbury. The potato farms were in full swing. No one was thinking about (at least as far as I knew/know) preserving farmland, the farmers worked the land and we lived in a small town where farming was a mainstay. Sunday, May 30, 2010. Loose tea makes great iced tea and a few remembrances. I've been thinking for a while that we make great tea and it would be a good idea to let everyone know how we make it. Right now we have about 50 varieties of tea. Black teas, green, white and herbal tisanes. Along with flavored teas in all the tea leaf varieties - black, green and white. Last spring we decided to try a few of the teas as iced tea. Lemon Mango, Berry berry and white blueberry were very popular. How do we make it?
