Saturday, 14 March 2015. About 50 minutes by speedboat in northwestern direction from Yap Pacific Divers. Way leads through German Channel. Sunset Reef is the southern corner of Gaetmoqon Channel a marine protected area. The reef slopes from the main reef in 15 ft. (5 m) down to roughly 60 ft. (18 m) – from there on the reef turn into a wall, dropping to over 200 ft. (60 m) depth. Turtles, Sharks, Barracudas, Bumphead Parrot Fish, Napoleon Fish, Snappers, any kind of reef fish. Blue Seas Puerto Vallarta. Saturday, May 2, 2009. Not much to report on what appears now to be the former Blue Seas. According to my sources it is indeed changing hands and will be called One Vallarta Resort and Spa. The restaurant has been renamed Bite Me! And is being operated by two people who used to own Mama Dolores, Grant Hunermund and Kieran Justason. Apparently the place still closes at 6:00 pm, and they have a happy hour from 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm. I will keep you posted if I hear anything more,...
