The Bee in Me: June 2012
http://thebeeinme.blogspot.com/2012_06_01_archive.html
Thursday, June 21, 2012. Julia's eleventh month has come and gone.and we are on our way to birthday time! I'm having fun planning a little family get together to celebrate our daughter's first year of life. And so far, I'm living my new mantra as I mentioned in a previous post, "Don't cry because it's over. Smile because it happened! On her face. So fun! She's also learned how to crawl up the stairs, although she is pretty cautious about it. So much so that we haven't even put the safety gates up yet!

The Bee in Me: January 2013
http://thebeeinme.blogspot.com/2013_01_01_archive.html
Thursday, January 24, 2013. The first, and hopefully not last, snow day of 2013! We got about 1-2 inches on Thursday afternoon. The boys could hardly wait for it to start accumulating before they got out in it, pelting each other with wet snowballs and getting completely soaked. School was cancelled the next day. By then, an icy crust had formed on top, which was perfect for sledding down our driveway with the new saucer sleds that Santa had brought this year. But it made for a couple of hours of good fun.

Random updates of life in the Goodwin household. Tuesday, April 7, 2009. Ten Things Tuesday style! This last weekend was absolutely gorgeous! We spent time doing fun spring things. Here are some of the things we did:. 1 Had a picnic at Lakeshore. 2 Played baseball on a real baseball field. 3 Laughed at Carter running the bases after hitting the ball- he always ran through the puddle between 1st and 2 nd. He desrved to sit for a second! 5 Went home where Matt, Carter, and Gracyn. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

The Good Life: October 2008

Random updates of life in the Goodwin household. Sunday, October 12, 2008. Cheering on the Vols! Even when times are a little rough. Last Saturday (10/3), we took Carter to his second UT game. Even though the team is not doing so hot (to say the least)we really had a great time. He wore his jersey and his helmet, of course! On our way from where we parked to the Vol walk, a man stopped us. "He looks so cute in that jersey! We have got to get a picture of him! All right. "Do you have a camera? I am marrie...

A Word or Two: Free Travel #3-Santa Margherita
http://awordor2.blogspot.com/2012/03/free-travel-3-santa-margherita.html
A Word or Two. Saturday, March 24, 2012. Free Travel #3-Santa Margherita. The last three days of our free travel was spent in the beautiful Italian Riveria. We based ourselves in Santa Margherita at the Hotel Continental. March is low season for this area, so we were able to stay at a nice hotel with a huge balcony overlooking the Ligure Sea. Despite missing our train stop, we had a good day full of adventure! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile. The Agony and the Ecstacy.

A Word or Two: San Gimigiano & Sienna
http://awordor2.blogspot.com/2012/03/san-gimigiano-sienna.html
A Word or Two. Saturday, March 10, 2012. San Gimigiano and Sienna. A clear blue sky awaited us as we boarded the bus for San Gimigiano. This was definitely one of my favorite towns. It was quaint, adorable and a beautiful city surrounded by towers. The town originally had 72 towers, and now only 15 remain. The weekly market was that day and the little shops were open along the cobbled street. I really enjoyed Sienna and our day was complete with a meal together at a local favorite restaurant. I, Mona Lisa.

The Bee in Me: June 2013
http://thebeeinme.blogspot.com/2013_06_01_archive.html
Sunday, June 2, 2013. In my last post, which highlighted the events of our spring, I somehow completely forgot to include our camping trip! Friday evening wasn't bad. We and the Meases managed to get our tents and tarps up without any problems. Amy graciously made taco soup for everyone for dinner.which was soooo nice! And delish. Michael and Nat managed to get a campfire going in between sprinkles and the kids were able to make a batch of s'mores. What camping trip is complete without those? Seriously, ...
