Wednesday, August 20, 2014. Last week I shared this card. That I painted for my sweet friend, Amy's birthday. I also made her these coasters. There are a lot of crochet coaster patterns online, and while I did a lot of searching, I couldn't find exactly. What I was looking for, so I improvised. Simple rounds of single crochet are the base of my coasters, topped with two rounds of top stitching inspired by this pattern. And wool stars inspired by these coasters. For wider based vessels, such as coffee mugs.

Sunday, December 1, 2013. Happy Halloween.and Thanksgiving. Well let's start at the begining I suppose. The little guy was a viking for Halloween. For him I sewed up some faux fur boot covers and fur vest. It was raining and yucky out so we did not stay out long although he was pretty warm. He even had on a fake red beard and hair under his horned helmet. Sorry this is the only decent picture I got that night; you can't really see the boot covers or the vest over his coat. Friday, April 25, 2014. Peek A Boo Castaway Cargo Review. Peek A Boo Pattern Review. Another lovely pattern review. Pattern includes front pockets, welt pockets in back, cargo pockets on the sides, a faux fly, an extra comfy knit, elasticized waistband with optional drawstring and accent top stitching throughout. 3m to 12 yrs. Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? Were the instructions easy to follow? I love all the pockets! Would you sew it again?
