Tuesday, May 4, 2010. Jenn has been tagged to choose our book for May. I just had to throw out a little flashback comment to Picking Cotton. Because just within the last week another guy was released after many years in prison when DNA evidence finally cleared him of the crime he didn't commit. There was an article in the paper about how now Idaho is the only state who doesn't allow DNA testing in criminal cases. Why? I don't know. Go figure. The Bookseller of Kabul. Grandpa Whitaker drove up Tuesday night and played with us until Thursday afternoon when Carrie and Troy and Melinda, Jared, Spencer, Leah and Seth and my friend, Micah, arrived. This is the first year that I dared try dyeing Easter eggs with Sa m and Daniel. It proved to be a hit and it wasn't as messy as I thought it would be. The Easter Bunny comes to our house the Saturday morning of Easter weekend. He left lots of candy-filled eggs in our backyard and Sam and Daniel worked speedily to collect them.
