A Quick Field Sketch at a Favorite Marshland. The Refuge at Lawrence Lake. I drive by this marshland of bull-rush, flag grass, and wild rice beds nearly every day. It captivates me most on misty mornings, or late afternoons as the sun hits the furthest tree line.
