Craft Explosion: Lip Gloss Edition. Posted in Craft Explosion. On May 17, 2013 by Kara. Cocoa butter: somewhat hard (like chocolate) at room temperature and smells tasty. Shea butter: soft at room temperature with a creamy texture. This will give a more matte texture. Beeswax pastilles: hard at room temp, the more you use the more solid your final product will be. Coconut oil: melts at about 78, so solid at room temp unless it’s summer! Vitamin E oil: liquid. Mayonnaise: just kidding, don’t do this.
