Make sure you chock the front wheels as this is obviously a rear wheel drive car and therefore nothing will lock the front wheels as simply as putting it in gear, like on a front wheel drive car. Tyres - Front tyres need replacing desperately. Problem. they are metric sizes and therefore difficult to replace. Still searching for replacement imperial wheels. Control Arms - Front control arms are knocking badly and am getting wobbly shaking problems at speed/braking, all due to this. Few spots of rust appearing - nip in bud.

Noticed turbo heat shield has come away. It just a bent piece of steel covered with mesh type type. looks like it just fatigued at one of the bends. I had reset the trip counter when it had ticked over 198,000 in anticipation of capturing 199,999 999.9 and then 200,000 000.0 but the counter and odometer seemed to have a funny moment when it ticked over 200,000. It literally paused until the trip counter ticked over to 000.1 until ticking over to 200,000!

Note, the rear caliper pistons push in, not wind in like some rear calipers. Other than being unable to remove the locking wheel bolts and having to go to local tyre garage to get them off, it was a reasonably easy quick job.
