第 一 條 本會名稱為台灣中子捕獲治療研究學會 以下簡稱本會。 對外使用英文名稱為Taiwan Society of Neutron Capture Therapy。 第 二 條 本會為依法設立、非以營利為目的之社會團體，以發揚中子捕獲治療與相關科學之應用、提昇中子捕獲治療技術、中子捕獲治療基礎教育、及關懷國家有關中子捕獲治療之經濟建設以增進社會福祉為宗旨。 第 三 條 本會以全國行政區域為組織區域。 第 四 條 本會會址設於主管機關所在地區，並得報經主管機關核准設分支機構。 第 五 條 本會之任務如下. 第 六 條 本會之主管機關為內政部。 第 七 條 本會會員分為下列5種，其入會資格 凡贊同本會宗旨且年滿20歲者(預備會員除外)，具以下資格者，經本會會員2人推薦，得加入本會會籍。 2、 團體會員 凡贊同本會宗旨之機構或團體，經理事會通過，年繳規定之會費，得為團體會員，並得推派代表1人，以行使會員權利 本會分級組織應加入本會成為團體會員。 第 八 條 申請入會時應填具入會申請書，經審查委員審查後，秘書處於十五日內寄發審查結果及入會費繳納單據予申請人，審查委員三名 兩位理事一位監事 ，由.

硼中子捕獲治療(Boron Neutron Capture Therapy; BNCT)是一癌症治療重要的新希望, 它必須結合眾多的專業及技術, 包括臨床腫瘤醫學, 原子物理的觀念技術, 以及生物化學的藥物發展等, 缺一不可的癌細胞內標靶粒子放射治療 Internal targeted particle radiotherapy。 台灣發展硼中子捕獲治療的歷史相當悠久, 清華大學原科中心反應器中心是研究的濫觴與搖籃, 後續有很多各大研究機構以及醫療院所的共同投入, 台灣的研究學界蓄積了相當足夠的研究與發展的能量, 因此成立一個結合眾人智慧力量的學會團隊甚為重要。 我們很高興在2015年一月眾人篳路藍縷努力推動下, 我們成立了台灣中子捕獲研究學會(Taiwan Society of Neutron Capture Therapy; TSNCT), 這個學會肩負突破精進中子捕獲治療技術發展的重要使命, 因此我們對於學會經營的理念為:. 02 ) 2875 – 7270 分機 246.

什麼是硼中子捕獲治療(Boron Neutron Capture Therapy; BNCT). 硼中子捕獲治療(Boron Neutron Capture Therapy; BNCT)對於國際放射腫瘤研究並不是一個陌生的領域, 有別於傳統光子放射治療或近日流行的粒子治療觀念技術(質子, 碳離子等)是透過人工操作方式去對位腫瘤, 來提供腫瘤的照射治療的精準度, 硼中子捕獲治療則是利用提供腫瘤攝取一種含硼10的藥物(自然界硼原子的主要組態是硼11, 但硼10是不具放射線的同位素), 然後給予腫瘤照射熱中子, 此等熱中子的照射會誘發硼10藥物的分裂反應, 產生兩個高腫瘤破壞生物效應的粒子(α粒子及反跳鋰核), 這兩個高腫瘤破壞效應的粒子不但生物效應極佳, 更優勢的是其破壞影響的範圍僅5-10μm, 只侷限在一個腫瘤細胞的範圍內, 是一個兼具低正常組織副作用, 高腫瘤破壞效果的優勢放射治療, 近年來相關的研究學者更給其 標靶性粒子放射治療 的定義名稱。 1932年 英國原子物理學家查兌克 James Chadwick 發現中子. 02 ) 2875 – 7270 分機 246.
