November 30, 2014. We had a ward egg hunt. My cub scouts stuffed 250 eggs. I think the kids looked great in their Sunday duds. We went to Randy and Janet's house to enjoy the holiday with Rick's family. Unfortunately, Rick had to work. We had a good time without him. We ate too much and enjoyed all the candy. November 30, 2014. Spring break in Utah. We went to Utah for spring break and drove to Logan to see one of Rick's high school friends. We took the time to show the kids USU campus and eat some yummy Aggie ice cream. They had a great time. October 23, 2013. We woke up in Georgia and hit the road. We drove straight through to Morristown only stopping at the state signs and to grab a bite to eat. The kids were great! November 30, 2014. We are Mormon and one of the parts of our religion is temple worship. The church is building a new temple across the street from my mom's work and while we were there in March they hoisted the massive Moroni statue to the top of the building. It was fun to watch. The kids decided that they wanted to be Moroni's themselves. It was so funny. They climbed on a rock they called the temple and used their hands for horns. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). May 28, 2013. We spent Easter weekend with Rick’s family. Kevin had his friend Kay come to visit. She is really nice and glued to Katie most of the time. She brought her dog Misha to play with Chasqui. The kids laughed and laughed. I got to go out with Kay for a girls lunch and some shopping. November 30, 2014. Horses with Amy, tractors, quick dips, and good books. Amy arranged with the next door neighbor Reena to have the kids ride horses while we were in Utah. Trevor refused to get off and Katie and Brady had to take turns riding behind Amy. He loves riding. Trevor and Grandpa have a special relationship. It is great to see them interact. Trevor would follow him anywhere, especially to the tractors. Of course a trip to Grandma's isn't complete without a few good books. Spring break in Utah.

December 8, 2013. Rick finally had some time off from work and we decided to go crazy. We went to the beach, saw family, hunted black widows, and even went to Sea World. It was nice to spend some time with him. A few weeks later we went to a ward activity where they did a family Olympics. Rick won gold for diaper changing. That is Trevor on the body board. September 24, 2014. One of my Besties Kristina left me here in California to move on to greener pastures in Colorado. I miss her and her little family all the time. Our kids played really well together and her boys were such hams. We got in a few extra hours together before they left. Links to this post. Katie was given a tea set by her cousin, thanks Kyra.
