Widebeam Boat Build Blog. We wanted a widebeam but didn't fancy the price tag. Here's how i did it. Friday, 16 August 2013. Making Keel Cooling For A Friend. A very good friend of mine had a new engine fitted recently. The boat was an ex hire boat and only had a 35hp engine which is fairly normal for a hire fleet boat. Widebeam Boat Build Blog. We wanted a widebeam but didn't fancy the price tag. Here's how i did it. Thursday, 3 April 2014. We are off in under 2 weeks eek! Final preparations now for the continent include extra navigation lights. Since the boat was built it has always had port and starboard lights (red and green). Mine are like these. But the continentals are a bit more picky about navigation lights. I did however in preparation put in the roof a socket to add a masthead light. Stern light (bolted down).
