The cruising adventures of Sid and Manuela. Tuesday, June 18, 2013. Our godchild Felicia and my brother Marco. Does anybody have an idea how to slow time down? Let me know if you do. I don’t know if it just goes by fast in Panama or anywhere else. My Blog is running further and further away from me so time to catch up on the last several months. After getting back from Costa Rica I had just about 3 days to get ready for my brother and family’s visit from Switzerland. They arrived on the 29. The drive hom...

BOATBUMMS LOG: July 2013

http://boatbummslog.blogspot.com/2013_07_01_archive.html

The cruising adventures of Sid and Manuela. Wednesday, July 31, 2013. A couple of days after my brother left Dr. Ida the cruiser’s dentist invited a few of us to spend the night at her beautiful resort. Wow what a tranquil place up in the hills above Colon with a spectacular view, surrounded by trees full of bird live. What amazed me was that the many hummingbirds she has look all totally different than the ones living at sea level. What a treat this visit was. Ida helping her chef. Ida, Sandy and Binnie.

http://boatbummslog.blogspot.com/2013_11_01_archive.html

The cruising adventures of Sid and Manuela. Thursday, November 28, 2013. CRUISE FROM MIAMI TO PANAMA. Fortunately it was just a 3 hour flight so not too bad, but we both agreed that we would not fly any longer than just that. It was also was packed with screaming kids and diaper changing odor lingered in the air. So make sure you go to the bathroom before you get on and bring a good book and an iPod. Snacks and then we sat around the warm fire enjoying the brisk evening. Tree at Kari's house. Bob always ...

BOATBUMMS LOG: February 2015

http://boatbummslog.blogspot.com/2015_02_01_archive.html

The cruising adventures of Sid and Manuela. Tuesday, February 03, 2015. PARADISE ON THE HARD. Everybody is saying that they have never seen stronger Christmas Winds as this year. In deed the wind was blowing every day with gusts way over 20 knots. We were just hoping that the wind would behave when we had to sail to the Shelter Bay Marina. Our haul out date was on the 8. Deb and Reg making sure all is going well. And the chaos begins. Where's Waldo replaced by Where's Manuela (sitting close to pee bucket).

Millions of years ago, dolphins had legs. If you look closely at a dolphin's skeleton, you'll see two small rod-shaped pelvic bones. These bones m...If do...

FART FACTS
