De NO tradewinds blazen dag en nacht 20-25 kn, de swell is meer dan 2 meter en bovendien loopt de stroom 2 kn. west. Omdat ook toen de piraterij een lucratieve. Bezigheid was bouwden de Spaanse handelaars aan weerszijden van de baai grote forten met veel kanonnen. Maandag 24 februari 2014. We zijn in Chiapas gearriveerd. Na de Marina in Huatelco zijn we naar de aangrenzende baai gegaan en daar het onderwaterschip schoongemaakt. Bij het krieken van de dag zijn we uit Tangalo Bay vertrokken. net bij zons opgang. 48 uur later varen we de marina in Chiapas binnen. Nu maken we ales klaar voor het traject naat Panama. Woensdag 22 oktober 2014. Weer in Friesland en thuis wat nu? Nadat we in Ijmuiden aankwamen zijn we snel naar het Ijselmeer gegaan, Toen we door de Oranje sluis bij Durgerdam arriveerden wachtte ons een grote verrassing. Lieve vrienden met de Emma Christina wachtten ons op .een heerlijk weerzien! Daarna zijn we een weekje in Lelystad gebleven om vrienden en familie te ontmoeten,en zijn vervolgens naar Friesland gevaren om een paar weken in de ZuidWesthoek door te brengen. Wat een prachtig land bewonen we!

Donderdag 13 augustus 2015. De krukken en de hometrainer zijn sinds 3 augustus overbodig .Volgens de arts zijn alle bewegingen weer toegestaan. Dus .in september weer aan het werk aan Marida! Hopelijk is het weer dan geschikt om het buiten schilderwerk aan de romp af te maken ! Intussen vermaken we ons uitstekend .Een dagje fietsen in Noord Drente en Zuid Groningen is erg leuk!
