Matters go home - AGAIN. Pictures and narrative of our life and remodeling projects. Sunday, October 26, 2014. It's a BOATING Life. A new addition to our family life in 2014 was the purchase of a little power boat. It has opened up a whole new way to enjoy Lake Roosevelt. Here are Mark and Lilly getting their first look at the boat. And here she is in the water. And of course most everyone wants a turn to drive the boat. Lucas has a turn. Josie has a turn. Mark has a turn. Tim has a turn. It is great tha...

Matters go home - AGAIN. Pictures and narrative of our life and remodeling projects. Friday, June 29, 2012. Lilly and Josie are more like sisters than cousins. A continuation of cute grandkid pics.). Here is just a sampling of the ways Lilly and Josie play together. OK, meal time isn't that pretty. But aren't they so sweet sharing the contents of a box. And here they are both helping to bring in Amy's purse. Can you just imagine what trouble these two will get into when they are teenagers. Lilly and Josi...

Matters go home - AGAIN: January 2012
http://mattersontheroad.blogspot.com/2012_01_01_archive.html
Matters go home - AGAIN. Pictures and narrative of our life and remodeling projects. Tuesday, January 24, 2012. We can't manage our rural lifestyle without having a pickup truck. There are 1001 needs- from going to the dump, to the lumber store and hauling manure or other garden supplies. Sadly, we sold our trusty "ole yeller" 1966 Ford pickup when we lived in Sequim (as we had regular garbage pickup and a Buick station wagon that could haul a 4x8 sheet of plywood). Tuesday, January 24, 2012. Sunday, Jan...

Matters go home - AGAIN. Pictures and narrative of our life and remodeling projects. Monday, July 09, 2012. I guess my cousin Jody is right. It wouldn't be the Matters if we didn't have a project going on. On top of building a 12'x24' bunkhouse this summer- we are also trying to squeeze in some other projects. Here is the latest. We put a couple sections of picket fence out at the end of our driveway. Now we can tell new guests to just look for the fence to find our driveway. And finally.getting ready...

Matters go home - AGAIN. Pictures and narrative of our life and remodeling projects. Wednesday, January 01, 2014. We had a wonderful Christmas shared with our children and grand children, but pictures were somewhat sparse. We did manage to get all four grands to sit with us briefly on Christmas eve. We really were all as happy as our expressions show. On Christmas morning we got to enjoy the opening of gifts at both homes. Lucas and Josie were the first to get started. And Lucas just continued to be cute.

I was able to get to Denver for a mid-summer visit with Lisa and Betty and their darling children Josie and Lucas. I had a wonderful time- even if it was only for 24 hours. Two years plus 7 months old Josie showed off her tree climbing skills for me.(and the pictures turned out so darn cute I couldn't resist uploading them all.). Wednesday, July 17, 2013.
