Tuesday, October 12, 2004. Our 2 week trip around Croatia, Slovenia and Italy. This is in Vrbnik, on the island of Krk (Croatia). Locals claim this to be the narrowest street in the world (I think they could be right! Here, we are rowing on Lake Bled (in Slovenia) out to a cute little church in the middle of the lake. I don't think Daisy and Thomas really understood what they were looking at, but they seemed to enjoy themselves. Overall, the zoo was pretty good, but there is a lot of work-in-progress on the central section, hence I am sure it will be even better in 2007 when the changes are all finished. After a few wines...

We stayed at Cafe du Moulin in a fabulous two bedroom apartment with a great restaurant downstairs.
