Bowen Matthew Shoberg is 7 weeks old, born October 6, 2010. He is such a sweet, beautiful, happy baby. I got to hold him, and squeeze him, and hug him, and love him for FOUR days! Leaving them was so hard, but they will be with us in Placitas for Christmas in 3 weeks! He is so strong and alert! Grammy got her exercise chasing Duncan. Welcome to our blog.

Getting there was half the battle - and the fun. The roads in Australia are not marked (! And the maps are not easy to read, AND our rental car was not equipped with a GPS (though we specifically requested one! We stayed in an area of Sydney called "The Rocks" where there are many pubs, restaurants, shops, pubs, museums, walking tours, pubs, and other fun things to see and do. Matt, Paige, Duncan and Bowen. Wednesday, January 11, 2012. Duncan's class Christmas party. Duncan wasn't thrilled with Santa - I wasn't expecting Bowen to be OK with him. We got to ride Santa's train after this and Santa gave Duncan a candy cane. When anyone asked Duncan what Santa brought him for Christmas he responded - "candy cane"! Anna and Duncan - bff's (2.5 years). Grammy and Bopba came to austin for Christmas - this is at the Robson's house on Christmas Eve. Bowen got a shopping cart!

Matt, Paige, Duncan and Bowen. Wednesday, December 5, 2012. October 11-14, 2012. We took the boys to their first ABQ Balloon Fiesta. It was such a wonderful family vacation. Grand Stan and Taffy came along so we had the entire family together for a long weekend. On Friday we took the train to Sante Fe and had lunch in the square. Matt, Paige, Duncan and Bowen. Wednesday, December 5, 2012. The boys requested to be firemen this halloween after the fire department visited their school. We stopped at the fire department on Halloween night. The boys were their only trick-or-treaters so they got the full tour of the station! They are so into everything fireman right now that we have to point out every fire hydrant we see as we are driving down the road - I never knew how many fire hydrants there were! All different colors too.

Bob's brother and his family live there and we have been talking about it for years, so.off we went! With the snowstorm of the century giving us 20 inches of snow, we really ended up having our summer vacation in January! I love the snow, though, so I wasn't all that upset! Truman and Wilson love Santa! 1 Bob and Terri moved from their Jefferson City home to Saint Charles, Missouri. 2 Ashley spent the summer in Ecuador working with fair trade artisans. 3 Terri got a new job as an Kindergarten and first grade principal in Wright City. 4 Bob and Terri started living in an apartment in New Town after living in houses for over 25 years! 5 Columbia College transferred Bob to the St. Louis campus in July!
