As we wind down our Christmas trip to Las Vegas, I look forward to getting home, snuggling up on the sofa, eating beans on toast for tea and catching up with friends and family. Vegas is most definitely a place of excess. From the food, the drink, the gambling, the shops, the festive decorations, everything is bigger and brighter than anywhere else. A week of eating out at some awesome restaurants has left me craving a bowl of cereal, or an omelette! Day 9: Viva Las Vegas.

Losing a family pet. My two year old daughter isn’t aware of where Fizz has gone and doesn’t appear to miss her. My six year old son is quite sensitive anyway, so he has been upset. I love to read books, I read every night before I go to sleep otherwise it takes me a very long time to fall asleep. My favourite genre is the classics but I also enjoy girly novels and most other books. With a happy ending of course. I could say that of a book written today, no matter the century we still enjoy love stories and I doubt that will ever change.
